Found on the Student Demographics page as well as Student Data>Programs>Language Assessment. 

Despite the field's title, the date includes Transitional Kindergarten as well. Note: Private Schools do not qualify when determining this date. 

How/Where to find the information to populate this field:

In Aeries, you can check in the Enrollment History to see if we've had the student since TK or PS. The K-12 Date is actually the (T)K-12 Date so if we had the student since PS, we can find their first TK (or K) date in Enrollment History.

If you have a guess based off of documentation somewhere in the enrollment/cumulative file/language assessment/whatever process, you can enter your "best guess" here-- if it doesn't match what's in CALPADS, the Student Data Technician will catch the discrepancy while validating Aeries exports to CALPADS and they will update the date based on what is found in CALPADS.

If there is no reference in Aeries for the student's first enrollment and you have no idea whatsoever-- put in a ticket at https://support.byron.k12.ca.us/ and the Student Data Technician will get the date from CALPADS for you. The category to use for the ticket is New Ticket>Student Data>CALPADS. If the ticket is made under that category and you provide the SSID (or the Aeries Student ID), that ticket will route straight to the Student Data Technician. The response time should be prompt, as pulling this information is simple and can be done while completing other tasks.
